BCSAP Volunteer of the Month

Erica Wangler

Erica Wangler has been volunteering at the Center for about one year. She started by carrying trays for those who are unable to ambulate safely through the congregate meal line. She then decided she would enjoy serving coffee at mealtime. She is very happy to help out where ever she can. Most recently, Erica has been volunteering in the kitchen, helping pack the home-delivered meals. She will be taking a break from volunteering when she goes south to Lake Havasu in October.

Erica has been married to Al Wangler for 41 years. They have two sons, Kevin and Aaron, and she has two grandchildren. Her hobbies include crossword puzzles, crochet and reading factual books.

Erica participates in Bunco and pinochle and enjoys the music and special parties at the Center. She says she “LOVES the SENIOR CENTER” and wishes more baby boomers would come and participate in the activities and the Noon congregate meal.

Erica has such great energy! We are very fortunate to have her as a volunteer.

Volunteers Make It Happen!
The key to our success rests in our volunteers,
who embody the spirit of greatness by saying,
"Yes I can, and so can you!"
Thank you so much for your hard work.
We never could have asked for more dedicated volunteers,
and we cannot express how grateful we are to have you here!!!
